As the sun begins to set on this Christmas afternoon, I wanted to take a moment away from the screens and the blocks to share a quick note of gratitude with all of you. Whether you’ve been following the blog, watching the streams, or hanging out on the BassetBlocks server, I am so incredibly grateful to have you as part of this community.
For me, Christmas is about more than just a much-needed break and good food. It’s a day where I stop to wonder at the most incredible event in history: that “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” The idea that the Creator of the universe chose to step into our world, to walk where we walk and experience life as we do, is the foundation of the hope and peace I carry every day. It’s a reminder that we aren’t alone and that we are deeply loved.
My prayer for you today—regardless of where you stand with faith—is that you experience a true sense of peace and rest. I hope your homes are filled with laughter, your hearts are full, and you’re able to enjoy the company of those you love.
